Yow guys take a look at the worlds oldest automata on earth. It's fully operational you see and there has never been a more famous automaton than Vauconson's duck. At the age of 26, Jacques de Vaucanson arrived in Paris in 1735. His first attempts at reproducing life artificially were uncompleted due to lack of funds. Vaucanson had the idea "of getting assistance by producing some machines that could excite public curiosity." Exhibited in 1738, this automaton, along with the two others shown at the time, secured an immediate and widespread success.
